LUSH Cosmetics offers fresh products that look good enough to eat

Beautyisms may be no more, but I still love a good natural product.

The name alone makes me want to shop here, but it's the fresh handmade products that will keep me going back for more. If you are not familiar with LUSH Cosmetics, then let me introduce you.

LUSH Cosmetics believes in living a lush life filled with products that look good enough to eat. Products that are made from fresh organic fruit and vegetables, the finest essential oils and safe synthetics.

Each LUSH products is made by hand using little or no preservatives and minimal if any packaging. Because these products are made fresh, each container will tell you who made it, when it was made, and when the product should be used by.

The vibrant colors, smells and textures of the handmade natural soaps will leave you asking if you are supposed to eat it or use it on your body. The display of Honey I Washed The Kids soap looks like a rich and creamy creme brulee - and it feels just as rich and creamy on your skin.

Over the years, bar soap has gotten a bad reputation as being bad for your skin and leaving a filmy residue on both your body and the tub. The hand and body soap selection from LUSH should not be put in the same category as the bar soap you might find at the drugstore.

Made from all natural ingredients like lemon, jasmine, lavender, honey, mint, fig, and vanilla - to name a few - these soaps will not harm your skin with harsh chemicals or additives.

LUSH Cosmetics has made the words Bath Bomb famous - a whole new way to relax in the tub.
The Bubble Bars and Bath Melts look like candy, but don't eat them - just let the aromas and essential oils permeate your skin while you relax.

Like I said, everything here is made fresh. Right down to the facial products. From the Fresh Face Masks kept on ice and stored in a refrigerator at a nice 50 degrees - to the Facial Cleansers that look like a giant sushi roll! I was told that these products will last up to 3 weeks in my fridge and the pre-portioned containers won't leave any product or money wasted.

LUSH Cosmetics is more than just a store to buy your skincare products. They offer facials in the store too. My sister was kind enough to volunteer for a facial so that I could observe, ask questions, and take notes along the way.

Keeping with the theme of fresh, all products are custom selected and put on a plate for each facial. The plate looks good enough to eat!

My favorite little extra was the Dream Steam Tab (pictured in the center of the plate). Place this tab into a bowl of hot water, cover your face with a towel, and you have an instant aromatherapy steam. When your done, save the water in a spray bottle and use as a toner. Genius!

LUSH Cosmetics also offers private after-hours parties. What a wonderful way to celebrate your daughters birthday, treat the girls in the office or spend a special night out with the girls. I'm thinking this would be a great way to spend time before a wedding with your bridesmaids too! The best part is the cost of these after-hour parties is only $10 for children and $25 for adults - and you get a LUSH gift card for this amount to spend on your favorite products.

I am excited to try some new products from LUSH Cosmetics and will share all of my product reviews with you soon. For more information on LUSH Cosmetics or to find a store near you, visit their website www.lushusa.com
