Wordless Wednesday – You’re invading my space
I gave Dylan my old camera to use at the zoo last week and I think he may have annoyed this Golden Bellied Mangabey. The monkey came leaping from the tree and jumped at the window numerous times.
At first Dylan was scared, although he would never admit that, and then he began to show his teeth to the monkey. This went on for a few minutes and my only regret is that I didn’t get it on video. -
Wordless Wednesday – I made this
I hated having to wake him on his second day of summer vacation, but I’m not on vacation until next week. He looked so peaceful sleeping as the morning sun lit up his room.
No matter how old he gets, I love watching him sleep.

Wordless Wednesday – Slow and Steady
These gentle animals have roamed the earth for almost 200 million years and it is estimated that they will disappear within the next 50 years due to habitat destruction, cruel pet trade, and the exotic food industry.
Giant sea turtles and desert tortoises may be slow, but we all remember the story of the tortoise and the hare. Slow and steady always wins the race.
